Clarence-Bud-Harris-1468239543Mr. Clarence “Bud” Harris, age 72 of Pocahontas, Tennessee passed away at his home on Sunday, July 10, 2016.

Clarence Herman “Bud” Harris, Jr. was born Monday, August 30, 1943, to the late Clarence Herman Harris, Sr. and Ethel Mae Rogers Harris in Camden, TN. Bud was a graduate of Middleton High School with the class of 1961. He worked as a truck driver for B&Z, L&L, J.P. Shelly, and Brown Transport. Mr. Harris enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding horses. He served in the U.S. Army for four years in Korea. He was a native of Camden, and lived most of his life in Hardeman County.

He is survived by his significant other, Rita Watkins of Pocahontas; a son, Scotty Harris of Pocahontas; a sister, Carolyn Taylor of Pocahontas; three brothers, Billy Harris of Middleton, Jimmy Harris of Selmer, and Leroy Harris of Spring Hill; and also nieces and nephews.

Bud is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Herman Harris, Sr. and Ethel Mae Rogers; and a brother, Bobby Harris.
