Jerry Tidwell, 70, of Nauvoo, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 8, 2016, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. and at Ashbank Baptist Church on Saturday, July 9, 2016, from 1 to 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at Ashbank Baptist Church on Saturday, July 9, 2016. Burial will take place at Ashbank Cemetery. Leslie Sartin will officiate.
Mr. Tidwell was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lucile Tidwell; sisters, Elhura Meyers and Christine Clingan; and brother, Terry Tidwell.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Tidwell of Nauvoo; daughters, Vanessa Tidwell of Nauvoo and Crystal Hicks (Mark) of Nauvoo; sisters, Bettye Elkins of Lynn, Nola Mae Garrison of Jasper and Jeanette Watts of Nauvoo; brothers, Jim Tidwell of Nauvoo and Cecil Ray Tidwell of Nauvoo; and special niece, Kim Shirey.
