Katherine Linda Gaddis, age 74 of Arab Alabama, New Harmony Community, died Monday July 4, 2016 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice of Marshall County.
Mrs. Gaddis was born on September 13, 1941 in Jefferson County Alabama to Zober Wade and Minnie Conn Wade. She worked in production at the H. D. Lee/Vanity Fair Plant in Blountsville until her retirement.
Mrs. Gaddis was a member of New Home Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years: Gerald E. Gaddis; two sons and daughter-in-law: Dale and Shannon Gaddis and Kevin Gaddis; one daughter and son-in-law Regenia and Michael Williamson; seven grandchildren: Coty Williamson, Austin Gaddis, Clay Gaddis, Jared Gaddis, Caleb Gaddis, Logan Gaddis and Riley Gaddis; one sister: Lorene Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents Zober and Minnie Wade, three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers Bobby Murphree, Arthur Feemster and Milford Hays officiating. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Eric Cox, Evan Cox, Randy Hays, Kyle Hays, Scott Hadley and Bill Wilks.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday July 5, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel
