Mrs. Juliana Carter, 84, of Florence, passed away on July 01, 2016 at her residence.

A rosary service will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 followed by visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Father John O’Donnell, O.S.B. at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Florian. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Mary Berrens Peters; husband, Robert Carter and two sons, Ralph and Jim Carter.

Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Kimbrough (Gary) of Killen; sons, Michael Carter (Andrea) and Paul Carter (Lisa) both of St. Florian; grandchildren, Adam Carter (Kristy) and Cody Carter both of Georgia, Cheyenne Carter of Greenhill, Heather Kimbrough of Killen and Jodi Kramer (Andy) of Tennessee; 1 great-grandson, Aiden Carter of Georgia.

She loved her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and always said family was all she ever needed. Whenever she met someone, she would instantly make them feel as if she were their mom. We will miss her laughter and sense of humor which brightened all of our family gatherings.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund at 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite 1710 New York, NY, 10122 or to St. Michael’s Church at 2751 County Road 30, Florence, AL 35634.
