James “Jim” Edward Womble, Jr., 63, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Jim loved spending time with his grandchildren, Brooks and Briley, they were his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Edward Womble, Sr.; son, Jonathan Brooks Womble and sister, Brenda Gayle Womble.
Jim is survived by his mother, Paula Ann Womble; son, Matt (Kim) Womble; sister, Tracy (William) Osborn; brother, Brent Womble; grandchildren, Brooks and Briley Womble; nieces and nephews, Emily (Cory) Buffaloe, Ashley Osborn, Drew (Hannah) Womble, Andrea (Steve) Elkins, Carver Buffaloe, Ansley Drew Womble and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5:00–7:00pm on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 8271 Whispering Pines Rd, Daphne, AL 36526. In Florence, AL there will be a visitation from 1:30pm-3:30pm and a graveside service at 3:30pm on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Greenview Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, 3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633.
