Hermann Michael Meyer age 60 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Meyer was born July 1, 1955 in Germany.
There will be a memorial service at a later date. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home assisting the family.
Mr. Meyer was retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a volunteer Manager for Athens High School Football team.
Preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Meyer.
Survived by two sons, Joel Nolan Meyer and wife, Maggie of Athens and Shane Michael Meyer and wife, Kayla of Elkmont; two grandchildren, Wyatt Michael Meyer and Avery Estelle Meyer; significant other, Joyce Jackson of Athens.
