Naomi Ferrell – Obituary

Naomi Ferrell was born in Hardeman County, Tennessee on February 4, 1927 the daughter of the late Vernon and Minnie Faucet Dodd.

On August 6, 1946 she was united in marriage to Frank Ferrell, who preceded his wife in death on May 9, 1995.

Sister Naomi was a retired factory worker, where she was a seamstress. She was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church. Sister Naomi was the 5 year olds Sunday School teacher at New Life for 50 years. She loved children, especially giving hugs to the children. Sister Naomi also loved her flowers in her flower garden.

She departed this life on June 27, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 23 days.

Sister Naomi is survived by her son, Roger Ferrell and his wife Mandi of Eads, Tennessee.

four grandchildren, Janette Clemons, Dale Ferrell, April Lindley and Roger Ferrell, Jr.

12 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren

one sister, Lillie Rose Isbell and one brother, Roy Dodd

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Suzanne Kates, one sister, Ruth Smith and two brothers, Leo and Archie Dodd.
