Ida Ruth Hayes Fleming, age 80, of Arab, died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. Fleming was born on June 30, 1935 in Marshall County, Alabama to Tallie Hayes and Ozett Mayo Hayes. She was a homemaker and had lived in Arab all her life. Her husband Burl Fleming preceded her in death on December 26, 2004.
She is survived by a son: Van Fleming; daughter and son-in-law: Kim and Shannon King; two step sons and step daughter’s-in-law: Joe and Connie Fleming; Russ and LaDonna Fleming; two step daughters and sons-in-law: Anne and Tom Thompson; Susan and Mark Prill; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Sue LeMaster; Sarah and Dwight Parris. She was preceded in death by her husband Burl Fleming; a son Keith Wayne Poole and a sister, Doris Hayes.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June27, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Gage Pewett, Josh Fleming, Dustin Poole, Michael LeMaster, Mark Prill and Chris Emery.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
