Ardith Alice Stickles Meadors, age 90, of Huntsville, AL passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016. She was born in Baltimore, MD, Feb 3, 1926. In her younger years, Ardith devoted her life to family, community service and her church. She retired to Huntsville, AL with her husband, Burnett Meadors, in 1977. In Huntsville, she served as a Red Cross volunteer for Huntsville Hospital and the Salvation Army for many years. She was an active member of Aldersgate Methodist Church. Spending time with family, playing cards and reading were her most treasured moments.
Ardith is survived by three daughters, Dianne Pera of Huntsville, AL, Jan Brolewyc of Pensacola, FL, and Nancy Gibson of Augusta, GA; five granddaughters, Cindy Clouser, Jennifer Jenkins, Leslie Cobb, Amy Good, Ashley Troutman; one grandson, Michael Gibson; five great-granddaughters; and four great-grandsons.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, June 27 at Maple Hill Cemetery.
