Daniel Wayne Hardy, 71, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016, at UAB Hospital.
Mr. Hardy had lived in Franklin County for the past 22 years and was a member of Orange Baptist Church. He was a member of Cattlemen Association and Quarter Horse Association. He was owner of Ty-Dan Transportation.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016, 4 p.m., at Orange Baptist Church with Corey Nicholson and Jerry Hester officiating. Burial will be in East Franklin Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service at the church.
Survivors include wife, Cozette Hardy; children, Stacey (Carol Ann) Hardy and Rodney (Cindy) Hardy; and grandchildren, Tyler, Katie, Meaghan, Reagan, and Jake Hardy.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Cummings, Danny Hardy, Keith Morgan, Huey Keller, Rob Eich, and Vinny Hyman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Garland Morris, Robert Morrow, Aaron Posey, Hugh Weeks, and Rick Anderson.
He was preceded in death by parents, Johnny Daniel and Ora Lee Hardy, and sister, Cindy Douthit.
