Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Marie Middleton Edgar Cox, age 87, are scheduled for 1 PM on Tuesday June 21, 2016 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Center Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Opal passed away on Saturday June 18, 2016 at her home in Reagan, TN. Born June 16, 1929 in Henderson County, TN to the late John Henry and Cora Ella Barker Cox, Mrs. Opal was a member of Westover Baptist Church, she was married forty plus years, loved to sew, enjoyed making crafts, and was a great cook. She was retired from Salant & Salant in Henderson. Survivors include her husband, Ralph E. Cox, son, Jerry Edgar (Jean), daughter, Shirley (Ray) Hooper, stepdaughters, Karyn Ann Zester, and Kymberly McDowell. 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
