Funeral service for Samuel Wade Hosmer, 73, of Hartselle, will be today, June 20, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Freeman, Bro. Harold Fanning, and Bro. Willie Jackson officiating. Visitation will be from noon until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hosmer died June 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born Dec. 7, 1942, Jefferson County, to Willie Hosmer and Lorene Pridmore Hosmer. Mr. Hosmer retired from G.E. after 26 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Shepard Hosmer; one son, Tony Cobb, Hartselle; three daughters, Susan Persall, Hartselle, Audrey Terry, Trinity, and Becky McNeal, Hartselle; one sister, Billie Jean Bush, Sumiton; five grandchildren; three nephews, Ricky, Mike, and Randy Bush.
