Peggy Lee Pace – Obituary

Peggy Lee Pace, 55, died Friday, June 10, 2016 at her son’s residence in Pontotoc after an extended illness. Born in Lee County on Feb. 18, l961 to Dennison Ralph and Jessie Mae White Pace, Peggy lived all her life in the Tupelo, Mantachie and Pontotoc areas. She was always a hard worker and devoted to her family and her God. Peggy lived large and well her whole life and her faith carried her through all her life crises. Outspoken but humble, she loved dearly her family and friends and would do anything for them. She enjoyed trips to Tunica, watching birds, sun tanning, singing and dancing. She now rests eternally with her heavenly Father.
At her request, a private family service will be held at Union Grove Cemetery near Mooreville. Services are entrusted to Holland Funeral Directors, Tupelo Chapel. Condolences may be e mailed to hollandfuneraldirectors@comcast.net
Survivors include her children: Glenda Ruiz and her husband, Hector of Mantachie/Shiloh and Dennison Pace and his wife, Tina of Pontotoc. 7 grandchildren, Natalee, Emilee, Ciprianna, Isaiah, Dakota, Katie and Abigail. 4 sisters, Joyce Lynn Galloway (Jimmy) of Pontotoc, Linda Hallmark (Jimmy) of Marietta, Brenda Rogers (Terry) of Alabama and Glenda Mae Gardner (Michael) of Mantachie. Several nieces and nephews including Tommy Taylor (Heather), Randy Cates (Jana), Donna Gomez (Regino) and Brandy Moore (Robbie). A host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Betty Westmoreland and a brother, Tommy Pace.
