Anita Gale Beck, 62 of Athens, Alabama died on Monday, May 30, 2016, at Limestone Health Facility in Athens, Alabama.
Born Friday, August 7, 1953 in Huntsville, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Elgie Neeley and the late Dorothy Adcock Neeley. She lived most of her life in the Athens area and was added to the Lord’s church in 2015. She was a big Alabama Football fan and loved gardening and Gospel music. Her best joy in life was her grandchildren. She was a big pet lover.
Surviving are her husband: Johnny Beck of Athens, AL, son, Ray (Felicia) Whiteley of Hazel Green, AL, daughter, Stacy Whiteley of Toney, AL, brothers, Lloyd Neeley of Athens, AL, Harold Neeley of Athens, AL, Bobby Neeley of Toney, AL, Billy Neeley of Athens, AL, Jimmy Neeley of Toney, AL, and Donnie Neeley of Athens, AL, and grandchildren: Allyson Neeley, Amber Neeley, and Blaine McCarver.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Dale Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Garden, Athens, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
