Funeral for John Calvin Cantrell, 72, of Moulton will be Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Scott Delashaw officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Cantrell, who died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at his residence, was born Aug. 26, 1943, to Calvin N. Cantrell and Louise Glenn Terry Cantrell. He retired as a lineworker for Joe Wheeler EMC after 36 years. He was a Mason member with Loyd O. Glenn Lodge No. 6. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Faye Reeves; his parents; and one grandson, Dusty Terry.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny Cantrell and Anita of Hatton and Dennis Cantrell and Brandi of Moulton; two daughters, Rena Gobbell and Kenny of Lossier and Denise Cornelius and Joe of Hatton; three grandsons, Cody Cantrell and Mercedes, Logan Thompson and Holden Thompson; two granddaughters, Mariah Cantrell and Anna Kate Cantrell; one brother, Billy Wayne Cantrell and Racheal; and companion, Jo Ann Murphree.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hanvy, Frog Givens, Tony Hamm, Logan Thompson, Holden Thompson and Cody Cantrell.
