Ava Dean Nix Crews, age 92, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Countryside Healthcare in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Giles County, TN, retired from Crockett Hospital, and a member of College Place Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ona Smith Nix; her husband, Arthur Crews; one sister, Marie Stewart; and three brothers, Odell Nix, Frank Nix, and John Nix.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM Friday, May 27, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Pleasant Grove Cemetery at 3:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2016, with Billy Woodward officiating.
