Funeral services for Mrs. Inita Dickson McPeake, age 93, are scheduled for 2 PM on Monday May 23, 2016 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Dr. Hoyt Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Mrs. Inita passed away on Saturday May 21, 2016 at her home. Born June 29, 1922 in Henderson Co. TN to the late Samuel and Daisy Buck Dickson, Mrs. Inita was a member of First Baptist Church in Lexington, and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Inita was preceded in death by her husband, John L. McPeake, a son, William (Pete) McPeake, two brothers, Huley and Faye Dickson, and a sister, Lillian Dickson Blankenship. Survivors include her son, Tim McPeake (Diane), daughter, Brenda (Joe Bailey) Kelley, daughter in law, Margaret McPeake, 5 grandchildren; Jeff Kelley (Lisa), Kim (Greg) Essary, Shelia (Russell) Hayes, Rhonda (Joel) Crawley, and Jamie (Zach) Hall, and 9 great grandchildren; Jonathan Hayes, Dakota Bell, Hunter Essary, Heath Essary, Kelli Brooke Hayes, Brett Bell, Bailey Hayes, Josh Crawley, and Braxton Hall. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to the Mt. Gilead Cumberland Presbyterian Church in the Shady Hill Community.
