Funeral services for Paul Schwaiger, 86 of Cullman will be at 10 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rev. Patrick Egan O.S.B. officiating with interment in Catholic Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Schwaigher passed away May 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born January 21, 1930 to parents, Leo and Sarah Swann Schwaiger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank, Fred, and Charlie Schwaiger; sister, Dot Jones.
Survivors include wife, Sarah Schwaiger; son, Paul D. (Tammie) Schwaiger; daughters, Paula (Joe) Taormina, Lynne Lynn, Robin Neal; brothers, John Schwaiger, Leo (Margaret) Schwaiger; sisters, Rosa Dalbec, Melba Goodwin, Martha Currin; grandchildren, David Schwaiger, Drew Schwaiger, Chloe Schwaiger, Kevin Brown, Jeffery Brown, Steven Brown, Chris Lynn, Nathan Lynn, Shane Day, Tyler Neal; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 -9 with rosary at 7:30.

I don’t know if it is important, but Paul Schwaiger’s sisters names are not correct in his obituary. My name is not Rose Delbac. It is Rosa Dalbec. Melba’s name is Melba Goodwin, not Melba Chamblee. Martha’s last name is Currin, not Curren. Paul was a wonderful person and very exacting. I don’t think he would like his sisters’ names not spelled correctly. Miss you, Paul. Heaven gained an angel.
