Carolyn McGee, 77, of Florence, passed away May 17, 2016 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Helton Drive Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Friday, May 20, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Chris Moran and Ken Chapman officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenview Memorial Park Love Mausoleum.
Mrs. McGee was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Lynch and Annie Mae McCarley; sisters, Mary Ann and husband, J.H. Bacon, Dot and husband, Fred Hill; brother, Jack McCarley; and the father of her children, James Ray McGee.
She is survived by her son, James “Jimmy” Ray McGee, Jr. and wife Ann of Muscle Shoals; daughter, Anna “Kathy” Kathleen McGee McRight and husband Stephen of Florence; grandchildren, Paul Bryant McGee of Muscle Shoals, Morgan Kelsie McRight and Andrew Ray McRight both of Florence; ten nieces and nephews; fifteen great-nieces and nephews, and eight great-great nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be Greg Hill, Mike Socci, Shan McGee, Brian McGee, Ken Lester, and Randal Lovelace.
Bryant McGee and Andrew McRight will serve as honorary pallbearers.
