ATHENS-We hooked over $8,000 while fishing for a cure!

The City of Athens Relay for Life Team’s 5th annual Bass Fishing Tournament in memory of Allen Dutton was held today (Saturday, May 14) at Ingalls Harbor. On Monday, organizers will finalize expenses and revenue, but it appears the event raised over $8,000 for the American Cancer Society.
Dutton, a member of the Limestone Lunkers, helped our team start our tournament in 2012 and died from cancer in 2013 the weekend of our second tournament.
