Funeral for Johnny Everett “JE” Turner, 78, of Moulton will be Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Turner officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight, May 16, 2016, from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Turner, who died Saturday, May 14, 2016, at his residence, was born Sunday, Dec. 12, 1937, to Richard Turner and Loraine Turner. He was a member of Berea Baptist Church. He enjoyed horses, mules and wagons. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce Hill Turner; two sisters, Corrine Turner Moats and Doris Turner Putman; brother, Richard Turner; and grandson, Thomas D. Turner.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny L. Turner and Thomas E. Turner; two stepdaughters, Kathy Terry and Tammy Hallmark; six grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Moats, Richard Moats, Rick Turner, Mark Turner, Jeff Turner, and Stanley Cheatham.
