Shawn Thompson, 40, of Huntsville, formerly of Gurley, passed away Thursday. Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his father, Jerry “Peaches” Thompson.
Survivors include his wife: Whitnea Thompson; three children: Griffin Mathews, Chloee Thompson, and Maxwell Thompson; mother: Rosemary (Bobby) Berryhill; two sisters: Penny (Greg) Childers and Tammy Morrell; two brothers: Brad Thompson and Tyler Berryhill; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Bill and Jan Mathews; and special uncle and aunt: Robert and Joan Albright.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Gurley City Cemetery.
