Mr. Robert Turner Hughes, 84, died Wednesday, April 11, 2016.
Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, May 15, 2016, 4-6 p.m., at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence, Alabama.
Funeral services for Mr. Hughes will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2016, at Emory Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Aliceville, Alabama.
Burial is in Hughes Memorial Garden, Pleasant Ridge, Alabama.
The public viewing will be Sunday, 1-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the NAACP Tri-County Branch, or the March Of Dimes, or the United Way of Northwest Alabama.
Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence, is directing.
