Ralph Douglas Crawley, Sr., 70, died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at his sister’s home. He was born December 8, 1945, to Quitman “Pitt” and Maedell Hale Crawley. He was a member of the New Home Baptist Church and attended Calvary Family Worship Center. He was retired from Mueller Brass Industries after 33 years of service. He also previously drove an ambulance for the Itawamba County Hospital and worked at Daniel Nursing Home. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and making home-made bread.

Services will be at 11 a. m. Saturday, May 14, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Ray Stevens officiating. Burial will be in the Sandy Springs Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Ralph Douglas Crawley, Jr. (Joanna) of Fulton, and Terry Wade Crawley (Connie) of Terrell, TX; one brother, David Crawley of Florence, AL; five sisters, Elouise Cook of Fulton, Robbie Whitehead and Lee Crawley, both of Florence, AL, Sherry Pomeroy and Gayle Johnson, both of Fulton; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Louise West, Ruth Ann Lesley, and Mary Neeley; one brother, Stevie Crawley; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be William Pomeroy, Chris Senter, Mike Wood, Timothy Waters, Steven Rogers, and Brandon Kent.

Honorary pallbearer will be Eric Rhyne.

Visitation will be from 10 a. m. until service time Saturday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
