Ulys Clay Lanier, 82, of Hazel Green passed away Saturday. Ulys was preceded in death by his wife Viola Lamons Lanier and daughter, Marie Lavonn Lanier. Survivors include daughters, Peggy Jean Carter and husband, James and Joanna Pruitt, both of Hazel Green and Angel Harries of Huntsville; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, three sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 11 in the Laughlin Service chapel . Burial will be in Byrd Cemetery in Owens Cross Roads.
