A Celebration of Life for Jean Fairbanks Jennings, age 69, of Decatur will be Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Mrs. Jennings died Monday, May 2, 2016, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Nov. 13, 1946, in Decatur to David Turner Fairbanks and Frances Bishop Fairbanks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dink” Jennings and her parents.
She is survived by two daughters, Ronnee Jennings and Teri Jennings (Logan Campbell), both of Priceville; four brothers, Eddie Fairbanks (Cheryl), Don Fairbanks (Brenda), Van Fairbanks (Kathy) and Mark Fairbanks (Sara); three sisters, Jackie Hendrix, Brenda Gill and Jan Partlow; one grandson, Connor Campbell; and one granddaughter, Lily Jennings.
