Geneva Williams, born in Hartselle, Alabama, Sept. 9, 1921. She died peacefully on April 28, 2016 in Raleigh, North Carolina. She retired from Warner Press in Anderson, Indiana. She is survived by her nephews, Robert Gerald Williams, of Raleigh, North Carolina, and George Spanos, of South Bend, Indiana; nieces, Joyce Yount DeFranco, of Florida and Carol Yount Bond, of Opelika, Alabama; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard T. Williams and Mattie B. Willis Williams; brothers, Willis Williams, Harold Williams and James Hollis Williams; sisters, Lettus Williams Yount, Lola Williams and Clora Williams; niece, Wilma Newman Morrow; and nephews, John Richard Williams, James Harold Williams and Eugene Earl Williams.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home followed by a chapel service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Brother Pearl Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Hartselle Memory Gardens.
