Rodney West, 79, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Tupelo . He was born September 18, 1936 to the late Gurley West and the late Madie Wilson West in Itawamba County. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hamilton, AL. He enjoyed being outdoors, working around his home place and spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his son, Barry West of Birmingham, AL, Grandson, Jason James of Birmingham, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Bobby West, and a infant brother.
