Veneva E. Slaughter, 83, died Thursday, April 28, 2016. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Mississippi. The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Lindsey Cemetery, Dennis.
