J.T. Cooper, age 78 of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 12:30 PM at Abundant Life Fellowship. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 2:30 PM at Abundant Life Fellowship, with burial at New Hope Cemetery on the Sipsey Cut-Off Road. James Aaron will officiate.
Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his Mother-Myrtle Haynes; Stepfather-Pat Haynes; Father-Jack Cooper; Brothers-Larry Cooper and Levi Cooper; Sister-Clora Mae Box.
He is survived by his Wife-Nita Cooper; Daughter-Kelly Banks (Kenneth Aderholt); Son-Tim Cooper (DeeDee Cooper); Sisters-Doris Reed and Elsie Beasley; Grandchildren-Tiffany Banks, Jamie Banks, Jessica Gilbert (Jason), Cade Cooper and Chaz Cooper; Great Grandchildren-Jaxon Banks, Hannah Williams and Kane Banks.
Pallbearers will be Jaxon Banks, Cade Cooper, Jason Gilbert, John Sherer, Tony Pierce and Barry Gosa.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Kane Banks.
