June Keeton Seal, 76, Russellville, Alabama, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016.
She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, and had attended Rockwood Baptist Church for 45 years. She graduated from Russellville High School and Larimore Business College. She had been employed by North Alabama Hospital, Sears, Alabama Employment Office and was a substitute teacher for several years. She also helped at her father’s grocery “Keeton’s Shop Ezy”. June was a wonderful wife, mother, mamaw, sister, and friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan James (Dale); special granddaughter, Hannah June Harold (Josh); sisters, Judy Grissom and Jane McManus; brother, Joe Keeton (Donna); sister-in-law, Judy Raper; and brother-in-law, Jerry Seal (Gwen).
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Seal; parents, E.E. and Mildred Keeton; sister, Sarah Nell Keeton; children, infant son, Mark Gregory Seal; daughter, Sharon Jane Bryant and son-in-law, Joey Bryant.
Funeral service will be Monday, April 18, 2016, 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Bro. Scott Lindsey officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be David Grissom, Daniel Keeton, Derek McManus, Johnny Hill, Lynn Hill, Joe Keeton, and Landon Hill.
Honorary bearers will be Delano Lawrence, MacKinley Flannigan, Hazel James, Marvin Harris, Anthony James, Ken Pinkard, and Morris Woodruff.
