Anita F. Snow, age 73 of the Snow Point Community died Thursday – April 14, 2016 at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama.
Anita was born on March 31, 1943 in Tallapoosa County to Virgil Moody & Odell Vaughn Moody. She worked at Wal-Mart in Arab for several years before retiring. Anita and her husband of 54 years, Max Snow lived in the snow point community and was very active in their church – First Baptist Church Union Grove. Anita served as Nursery Director, Sunday School Teacher , Chairman of the Hostess Committee, Marshall County Homeless Ministry and Operation Christmas Child.
She is survived by her husband: Max Snow; three daughters: Pamela S. “Pam” Morris (Joseph), Tami S. Edmonds and Paula S. Wright (Mark); one son: Jason A. Moody; grandchildren: Brittany Wiseman (Graham), Lauren Ramsey (Tyler), Abbi Rogers (Justin), Jonathan Wright, Jared Wright, Alix Edmonds, Tabitha Singleton (Dean) and Whitney Morris; great grandchildren: Henley Wiseman, McKenna Wiseman, Hayden Ramsey and Bailee Ramsey; a brother: Dwight Moody (Bridgett). Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Moody & Odell Moody and two brothers: Byron Moody and Kenneth Moody.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday – April 16, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother Greg Narrell, Brother Rick Douglas, Brother Anthony Barnes and Brother Willis Kelly officiating. Burial will be in First Baptist Church Union Grove Cemetery. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Graham Wiseman, Tyler Ramsey, Jason Moody, Justin Rogers, Jonathan Wright and Jared Wright.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday –April 15, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
