Gladys Waltz Miller, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Moulton, AL, retired from Sears, a charter member of Grace Nazarene Church in Lawrenceburg and a member of West Point Baptist Church.
She was a proud member of the LCHS Class of 1950 where she enjoyed spending many hours talking with family, friends, and classmates.
Preceded in death by her parents, John I. “Naish” and Elizabeth Lackey Beard; two children, Lynn Powell Beasley and Kenneth Dwight Powell; three brothers, William John Beard, Wilbur Beard, and George Dwight Beard; and husbands, Carlos Powell, Joseph F. Waltz and Bruce S. Miller.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 14, 2016, with Jerry McLain officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
