Murphy Released From Hospital Charged With Attempted Murder

LAUDERDALE COUNTY-Timothy Vincent Murphy has been released from the hospital on Monday, April 11 and has been charged with Attempted Murder and Domestic Violence Strangulation charges.

Murphy has been accused of shooting  Lauderdale County Sheriff Deputy Randall McCrary in February of this year while McCrary and three  other deputies were trying to serve Murphy with commitment papers.  McCray spent a week in the hospital and is expected to return to work soon.

Timothy Murphy was transported to the Lauderdale County Detention Center Monday afternoon where he is being held on $60,000.00 bond.
