Robert Lee Hill, age 87, Russellville, departed this earthly life into eternal rest on April 9, 2016.
Robert lived his entire life in Russellville, Alabama. He and his wife, Joyce faithfully worshipped at Jonesboro Baptist Church where he served as deacon. Robert retired from Reynolds Research and Development after 35 years of service with retirement years being filled with family, gardening and hunting.
Services conducted by Keith Prince, will be Monday, April 11, 2016, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville visitation from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. with service to follow. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents Tillman and Annie Hill; brother, Bradley Hill.
Robert is survived by his wife of 67 years Joyce; son Chris (Lori) Hill, Russellville; daughter, Peggy (Pete) Black, New Bethel; grandchildren Craig (Monica) Black, Brent Black, Lorie (Josh) Robbins; great-grandchildren, Chaney and Briley Black, Keslie, Kanen, Kinzie and Aidan Robbins.
Pallbearers will be Craig Black, Brent Black, Josh Robbins, Kanen Robbins, Jerry Hovater and James Hester.
