Edgar Pannell, 83, of Somerville passed away, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in Hazel Green. Mr. Pannell was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Edna Nelson Pannell; three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by three daughters, Susette Smith, Lynette Pannell and Nanette Mercer, all of Somerville; five grandchildren, LaShawn, Coty, Chasey, Brett and Trent; six great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Carson, Andie, Zack, Dustin and Caleb; and four great- great-grandchildren, Aleia, Rayna, D.C. and Trace.
Memorial service will be Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with his family officiating. Burial will take place in Nelson Hollow Cemetery. Hartselle Heritage is assisting the family.
