Judy Irons Green Eisenberg – Obituary

Judy Irons Green Eisenberg, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 2, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence. Services will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. with Dr. Hughey Reynolds officiating. Burial will be at Rogers Chapel Cemetery in Zip City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Beatrice Irons; two husbands, Harold Green and Mandy Eisenberg; and an infant daughter.
Judy is survived by her two sons, Ronny Green (Nancy), of Decatur, and Tim Green (Sally Jo), of Decatur; three grandchildren, Jonathan Green (Beth), of Decatur, Katie Gregory (Brian), of Atlanta, Georgia, and Joseph Green (Kimber), of King George, Virginia; and six great-grandchildren, Jackson Green, Carter Green, Ellis Green, Charlie Gregory, Nora Gregory, and Henry Green.
She was a graduate of Coffee High School, a volunteer at ECM Hospital, G.A. leader at Forest Hills Baptist Church, and enjoyed very much working in her flower garden. Judy and Harold were founding members of Forest Hills Baptist Church. She was a member there until her passing.
Pallbearers will be Ken Irons, Jay Irons, Hal Green, Scott Williams, Richie Williams, Scott Cook, and Tom Cook.
