Frank Delano Osborn, age 82, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016. Visitation will be today from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Ben Hayes and Larry Harper.
Mr. Osborn retired from Reynolds Alloys after 32 years of loyal service as a brick mason and was a member of the BAC Local 8 and a member of the Church of christ attending several congregations throughout the years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force (SAC) serving during the Korean War time and a member of RSVP working Homeland Security.
Mr. Osborn was preceded in death by parents, Irving and Odell Osborn; infant son, Frank Delano Osborn Jr.; and brothers, Milton Osborn and Mickey Osborn.
Survivors are wife of 55 wonderful years, Bonnie Osborn, of Muscle Shoals; sons, Frank Alan Osborn, of Muscle Shoals, and Jeffrey Lynn Osborn (Suzanne), of Sheffield; daughter, Leah Osborn Harper (Tim), of Florence; sister, Mary Jane Nesbitt (Ronald), of Muscle Shoals; brother, Denzil Osborn (Mary), of Florence; grandchildren, Jordan Harper, Chase Terry, Ashley Feltman, (Jacob), Cory Seal, Jennifer Allen (Blake), and Jeremy Harper; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim Harper, Jordan Harper, Jeremy Harper, Jacob Feltman, Blake Allen, and Lee Osborn.
Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
