William Thomas “Tommy” Pate age 53 of the Rose Hill Community, has won his long battle with cancer and entered into his eternal home that he was promised by God. He departed from his residence surrounded by his family on March 27, 2016 at 11:32 p.m. Easter Sunday night.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Scott Cemetery. Mike Jackson, Daniel Estille and Randy Key will officiate.
Mr. Pate was preceded in death by his Baby Brother-Phillip Lynn Pate; Grandparents-Cecil and Frances Prescott of Carbon Hill and John and Myrtle Pate of Carbon Hill.
He is survived by his Wife-Mickie Pate of Rose Hill Community in Nauvoo; Mother-Sarah Ann Pate of Rose Hill in Nauvoo; Father-William F. Pate of Rose Hill in Nauvoo; Son-Jason Pate (Brandi); Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law-Tommie and Brenda Eads; Brother-in-law-David Estille (Judy); Several nieces and nephews; Brothers-Michael Pate (Nicole) and Mark Pate; Granddaughters-Molly and Madi Reece Pate.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Estille, Kevin Eads, Michael Pate, Eddy Woods, Roy Holmes and Ray Prescott.
