MOULTON– Press Release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) has been issued regarding the arrest of one suspect on Capital Murder charges. Berryman’s arrest is the result of an investigation into the death of a Lawrence County child in August 2014:
“Special Agents with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), in conjunction with the Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office, today, March 24, charged Evan Woodrow Berryman, 28, of Town Creek with one count of Capital Murder of a Child Under 14.
The arrest is the result of an investigation into the death of a Lawrence County child in August 2014. Berryman is being held at the Lawrence County Jail with no bond.
Nothing further is available as the investigation continues.”
