RUSSELLVILLE-The ALEA (Alabama Law Enforcement Agency) released a statement regarding a traffic accident that claimed the life of one man:
“A two-vehicle crash Tuesday, March 22, has claimed the life of a Russellville man.
John Newman Hodge, 63, was killed when the 2003 Ford pickup he was driving collided with a 2012 Ford Taurus driven by Michael Ryan McCullough, 21, of Tuscumbia.
Hodge was pronounced dead at the scene, and McCullough was injured and transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment. The crash occurred at 4:50 p.m. on Alabama 247 eight miles west of Tuscumbia.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
