Marilyn Miller Pharr, 84, died Monday, March 21, 2016, at her residence. She was born in Belmont, Mississippi to Warren B. Miller and Fannie Moore Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Street Church of Christ.
Services will be Thursday, March 24, at 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, Mississippi, with Ron Deaton and David Conley officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, Mississippi. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Mississippi, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one son, Danny Smith Pharr, Dennis, Mississippi; three daughters, Sylvia Liles (Doug), Red Bay, Alabama, Pat Deaton (Ron), Belmont, Mississippi, and Donna Geno (Charles), Booneville, Mississippi; five grandchildren, Kevin Deaton (Jennifer), Kerry Deaton, Doug Liles Jr. (Lori), Sean Liles (Kristy), and Lindsey Pharr Hollingsworth (T.K.); eight great-grandchildren, Hanna Deaton, Dylan Deaton, Kellee Liles, Tessa Liles, Lydia Liles, Addyson Liles, Hunter Breann Liles, and Zoe Henley; one sister, Mary Harris, Memphis, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Gerald Clay; sister-in-law, Dean Pharr, Belmont, Mississippi; and special friend, Rada Malone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Smith Pharr; her parents; a daughter-in-law, Myra Pharr; a grandson, Dustin Pharr; and two sisters, Christine Clay and Jane Lattan.
Pallbearers will be Doug Liles, Kevin Deaton, Sean Liles, Kerry Deaton, T.K. Hollingsworth, and Dylan Deaton.
Visitation will be today, 5-9 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Mississippi.
