Huey Frances Peek, 78 of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at River City Rehab & Nursing Home. Mrs. Peek was born Jan. 1, 1938 to Hugh Speak Lindsey and Emma Frances Vest Lindsey.
Services will be Saturday, March 19, 2016, 3 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Don Osborne. Visitation will be Saturday, from 1 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Athens.
Mrs. Peek retired from South Central Bell in 1988.
Survived by her husband, Hansel Peek of Decatur; two stepdaughters, Angela McCutcheon and husband, Ray, Connie Woodall and husband, Troy, both of Decatur; one son, Doug Peek of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Wesley McCutcheon and fianceé, Brandy of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Courtney Rea and husband, Bobby of Decatur; Kim Floyd and husband, Tony of Huntsville, Matthew McCutcheon of Clarksville, Tennessee and Jessica Peek of Houston, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Floyd of Huntsville, Mckenzie Rea and Olivia Rea, both of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Doug Peek, Ray McCutcheon, Wesley McCutcheon, Matthew McCutcheon, Troy Woodall and Bobby Rea.
Memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice in Cullman.
