Funeral for Alex Frederick Weeks, 27, of Arley will be Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie McDonald and Rev. Daniel Gray officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Weeks, who died Friday, March 11, 2016, in Arkansas, was born May 24, 1988, to Faron Weeks and Pat Weeks. He was a member of Desperation Church in Cullman, member of the Echota Cherokee Tribe, enjoyed hunting, fishing, Alabama football and playing music. Alex was a loving husband, father, brother and son. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Juanita Weeks, Fred and Earline Peek.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Weeks; father, Faron Weeks; mother, Pat Weeks; brother, Keith Weeks; son, Bentley Weeks; daughter, Alexis Weeks; and grandfather, Junior Weeks.
Pallbearers will be Lee Jones, Dylan Crow, Ross Jenkins, Sammy Peek, Tyler Weeks, Justin Motley, Andrew Rollins, Scott Tyree, Erik Gillespie and Bo Hembree.
