The funeral service for Mildred Marie Landers, 86, of Athens will be Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Kasey Harbin officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 1:45 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Landers passed away Tuesday March 15, 2016 at Limestone Health Facility. She was born April 14, 1929, in Limestone County to E.K. Isom and Mary Ann Hardison Isom. She was a member of Market Street Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Phillip Landers; brother, Raymond L. Isom and sister, Mary Ruth Towery.
She is survived by her brother, Joe Isom and wife, JoAnn of Athens; James K. Isom and wife, Katherine of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Her nephew and great- nephews will serve as pallbearers.
