The funeral for Wanda Potter Heflin, 56, will be Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Parkway Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Heflin, who died Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital, was born July 27, 1959, in Moulton to James Potter and Earline Potter. She was a retired custodian from East Lawrence High School. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and motorcycle trips with her husband. She was preceded in death by brother, Randy Potter, and parents.
Survivors include husband, James Heflin; two sons, Jason Ray Heflin and Jesse Leoma Heflin; daughter, Kelly Heflin Dutton; two sisters, Brenda Gaddy and Freda Simmons; and three grandchildren.
