MADISON – The Madison Police Department released a statement on the arrest of a suspect in a shooting that took place on Brass Oaks Drive on March 10:

“The Madison Police Department responded to a call of shots fired on March 10, 2016 on Brass Oaks Drive. Several rounds were fired into a vehicle and at least one round entered a vacant house. No one was injured as a result of the shooting. The shooting appears to be related to an incident involving alleged stolen property.

Twenty-three year old Michael David of Madison was arrested yesterday on un-related charges and booked into the Huntsville Metro Jail. Detectives obtained felony warrants, in reference to this event, for Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of a Control Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Michael David was arrested today for the charges.

He was booked into the Huntsville Metro Jail with an $11,000.00 bond.

This incident is still under investigation and no further information will be released at this time.”
