Mabel Estelle Sharp Parker, 91, of Huntsville passed away Thursday at her home. She was a member of Jackson Way Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children: George Richard Gipson (Charleece) and Ralph Edward Gipson; one sister: Pansy Sharp Soltis (Don); four grandchildren: Terri Gipson Bonner (Greg), Richard Todd Gipson (Tina), JohnDale Gipson (Alana) and Keith Gipson (Lacey); six great-grandchildren: Callie Bonner, Caroline Bonner, Kaylin Gipson, Paige Gipson, John Todd Gipson, Abby Gipson and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Douglas J. Parker; three brothers: Roy Lee Sharpe, Olon Richard Sharpe, Robert Gene Sharp and one sister: Mildred Sharp Baucom.
Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a graveside service Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Burt officiating, Berryhill Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley or to one’s favorite charity.
