Eddie Guy Forrester, age 66, of Muscle Shoals, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016. His family will receive friends Thursday, 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Will Rushing and Dr. Tom Whatley officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Eddie was a native of Muscle Shoals, a retired maintenance supervisor after thirty-five years with the Muscle Shoals Utilities Board and a member of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church. He was a selfless caregiver who was always available to all who needed him. He was a man who deeply loved his family and was loved by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Lovie Forrester; sisters, Billie Sue Willis and Mary Alice Russo.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Jackson Forrester; son, Tim Forrester and wife Stacey; brother, Freddie Forrester and wife Connie; sisters, Joyce Brown and Olene Richeson; grandchildren, Karly, Lauryn and Whitley.
In lieu of flowers memorials may made to Woodward Avenue Baptist Church.
