Gaddis R. Earnest, 87, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born October 5, 1928 to the late Eulus Earnest and the late Ethel Montgomery Earnest in Baldwyn. He was retired from the US Army and a active lifetime member of the VFW in Fulton. He enjoyed tinkering with old tractors and cars, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family and friends.
Services will be at 11 am on Thursday March 10, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Woods officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday March 9, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangemets.
Survivors include his wife, Erika Earnest of Golden, 3 Sons, Derek (Jaren) Earnest of Fulton, Keith (Jennifer) Earnest of Mantachie, and Ralph (Katherine) Earnest of KS, Daughter, Regina Higgins of Warrior, AL, step daughter, Debra Lynch of Fairview, step son, Charlie (Jamie) Powers of Morgantown, WV, 5 Grandsons, Larry Earnest, Michael Earnest, Shane Earnest, Bobby Higgins, Haven Earnest, 3 Granddaughters, Jantina Earnest, Jennifer Earnest, Hope (Malcolm) Jones, several great grandchildren, Brother, Gary (Janet) Earnest of Plantersville, Sister, Adoise Parsons of CA
He was preceded in death by his parents, Son, Mike Earnest, Daughter, Martha Earnest, 3 Brothers, Leberon Earnest, Johnny Earnest, Bob Earnest and son in law, Jeff Lynch.
